Jim Leatherwood
As a licensed real estate broker and President of NexGen, Jim understands the need for agents to receive their commissions. Having started his career in real estate in 2001, Jim has worked with numerous investors and developers, while also working with regional/national companies to expand throughout Texas and the United States. Jim has sold over $300 million dollars in commercial real estate and has a vast understanding of the real estate market.
Jim graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship. After working for one of the largest commercial real estate firms in Texas, Jim helped start Silver Oak Commercial Realty in 2011. As a partner at Silver Oak, Jim has worked to transform his brokerage firm into one of the leading companies in the DFW market. Creativity, determination, knowledge, and passion for real estate has excelled Jim in helping his clients throughout every step of the deal process.
Jim’s wife, Ginger Leatherwood, also brings over 9 years of residential real estate experience and is a licensed agent with a national firm, Compass RE, out of the Southlake Office.
Jim is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR). In his spare time, Jim enjoys traveling, sporting events, outdoors, exercise, golf, playing guitar, live music, and spending time with his wife and kids.

Matt Sanderson
Being one of NexGen’s two Presidents and its Chief Administrative Officer, Matt Sanderson is a real estate attorney in Dallas, Texas. He is a partner at the law firm of Cuccia Wilson, PLLC. Licensed to practice law in 2002, Matt brings nearly 20 years of legal experience to NexGen Commissions. In his legal career, Matt structured a variety of transactions, accomplished hundreds of sales of commercial and residential properties, negotiated the financing for such transactions, worked with companies around the globe, and handled the sale of securities for real estate companies as well. He also served as an associate in-house counsel with a multi-national technology company.
Outside of his legal career, Matt has built five other companies in a variety of industries. He is a serial entrepreneur, and the companies he previously started range in scope from technology to consumer products to fitness delivery.
When Matt is not at the office, you can find him with his two children in Plano, Texas. Unmarried, Matt enjoys teaching yoga, playing guitar, boating, traveling, and practicing Krav Maga.

Ginger Leatherwood
Ginger brings 10+years of real estate experience and over $55 million in sales, representing clients throughout the DFW metroplex. Ginger excels in Client Services while building relationships and having a great understanding of her client’s needs. Her enthusiastic energy and sincere compassion for people allows her to work tirelessly to connect with her clients on a personal level.
Ginger grew up in Conroe, Texas, and graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Her amazing eye for knowledge of the latest market trends, maintaining a polished image, and communication skills are highlights you would note when working with Ginger. Ginger’s love of life shines through her work ethic by going above and beyond, and putting her clients wants and needs above her own. Over the past decade, Ginger has been involved in the sales and marketing of millions of dollars of real estate in areas such as Southlake, Westlake, Trophy Club, Keller,
Colleyville, Grapevine, Argyle and Las Colinas among many others.
Ginger and her husband Jim reside in Southlake, raising their four children. Their daughter Claire graduated from Oklahoma State, son Owen is a sophomore at Ole Miss, son Parker is a junior at Colleyville Heritage and daughter Emerson is an 8th grader at Grapevine Middle. Ginger has devoted numerous years serving and investing in the lives of people through her community, schools, and church.
Operations Coordinator
Aly Braddock
Aly Braddock serves as Operations Coordinator, a new role for NexGen. Alyson is a native of Ruston, Louisiana and previously served as Intake Coordinator for Lincoln Outpatient Therapy Services. Aly graduated from Louisiana Tech University and has several years of experience in customer service and back-office operations. Aly’s strength in growing key customer service relationships is fundamental to her work with NexGen’s growing number of new and existing clients. In her free time, Aly enjoys CrossFit, pickleball and traveling with friends and family.
